Making Lunch Fun, One Box at a Time

ben·tol·o·gy (ben t äləjē) Noun : The study of making nutritious and fun lunches for my daughters.

I get a lot of inspiration from other blogs. So, in hopes someone might get some inspiration from me, I've decided to post some pictures here.

This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.Proverbs 3:7-9

Zoo Camp - Day Four

I asked Avery what animals we should do for her lunch tomorrow and she yelled "GIRAFFES!" So, this is what we came up with:

  • PB&J on whole wheat sandwich cut into circle. Cheddar giraffe colored with food safe markers and heart shaped fruit leather.

  • Carrots with ranch

  • Red and green grapes

  • Pretzel snaps

Grandma, we were thinking of you as we made this one! :)

  1. I love the grape checkerboard! So cute!
Do you prefer this Sassy box over the green one you used in the previous post? I have the Sassy and love it, but am thinking about getting the other box as well. What do you think? Worth the money?

  2. Lila Jo, thanks for the comment and I'm sorry it's taken me a few days to respond. If I could only have one box, it would probably be the Sassy box. But, I love having a variety of boxes because I feel like it helps with my creativity. I would definitely pick up a couple different ones if you plan on packing often. Do you happen to have a Meijer grocery store near you? I just saw the Fuel sandwich box (the green one) in their "back to school" section for under $3!

  3. Unfortunately, no Meijer near us :( I have found them online (for way more than $3!) and I think I may just order a couple! Thanks!
