Tonight my daughter has her bridging ceremony as she moves from being a Girl Scout Daisy to a Girl Scout Brownie. So, her lunch today celebrates that.
- 2 Trefoil-shaped sandwiches (stacked) with a Girl Scout pick
- Carrots with ranch
- Daisy shaped cheddar cheese
- Red and golden raspberries in the shape of a daisy
- And, of course, a daisy shaped brownie for dessert!
Adorable! She'll love it. :)
ReplyDeleteA girl scout pick? Are you kidding me? You crack me up! Where on earth did you pick that up? You really are the bento queen!
ReplyDeleteJoanie, I have purchased most of my cupcake picks at a local cake decorating store. You can buy the picks individually -- it's AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is amazing! I have just started making Bentos for my preschooler, so we aren't quite as elaborate as you (yet), but I wondered... where do you find all these fabulous picks? I have a few sets of cupcake picks, but if I buy them in packs I end up with 12 of the same kind. Is there a trick to finding cool picks with only 1 or 2 of each?
ReplyDeleteKristinec0290, I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond to your post. I'm lucky enough to have a cake decorating store locally that sells cupcake picks individually. It's awesome! However, if you don't live in central Ohio or have a similar store near you, you can also buy holiday sets from the Cookie Cutter blog: http://cookiecutterlunch.blogspot.com/p/shop-cookie-cutter-lunch.html Hope that helps!
