Making Lunch Fun, One Box at a Time

ben·tol·o·gy (ben t äləjē) Noun : The study of making nutritious and fun lunches for my daughters.

I get a lot of inspiration from other blogs. So, in hopes someone might get some inspiration from me, I've decided to post some pictures here.

Ugh...More Snow!

It seems like our taste of spring was just that, only a taste. They are predicting several inches of wet, heavy snow to fall over night - BAHUMBUG! (Can you tell I'm tired of winter?) Anyway, I figured I'd embrace the snow by making one more (hopefully this is the last one) snow bento for the season.

  • Ham, cheddar and honey mustard on whole wheat cut into a snowflake with "S""N""O""W" picks.
  • Peas
  • Strawberry and pineapple slices
  • String cheese made into snowmen. (I cut the cheese into slices. I used food safe markers to add eyes, mouths, and buttons. I added a sliver of carrot for their noses and hat picks on top.)
  • 2 Hershey Kisses

  2. Those snowmen are A-Dorable. And my fingers are also crossed that this is the last winter bento we see till at least next November!
